iPhone Best tweak for placing icons anywhere?

Hi, what is the best tweak for placing icons anywhere you want them and updated for i6 IOS8?
 
For me it would be Gridlock but alas, it appears that Grant (@Chpwn) is not updating his tweaks for iOS8.
 
I don't know if he has stated it or not but he hasn't responded to requests. At least not that I have seen. Sad because for me he has always been one of the most respected devs in the JB community. I guess life goes on.
 
I have been off the jailbreak scene for 2 years, linked my iphone 6 to my account in cydia and boom had all my old purhcases listed

only downside is most of them say not compatible with my device

although Iconoclasm looks like its updates for ios8

anyone try it, is it still good for homescreen customizing?

It's ok, but Springtomize is best. I always used Iconoclasm but this time I went to Springtomize
 
I use homescreen designer and frankly I cannot give it more than 7/10 stars. It is super glitchy, if you look in the homescreen thread you will see my last post using homescreen designer, that first screen is the only screen that actually conforms to the pattern I created. Another thing is the dev says no need to respring but you have to respring or the icons are jumbled.

I think the price of $1.99 is unreasonable for the tweak. With so many awesome tweaks for $0.99, I don't think HSD is worth $0.50 😡

I don't experience either of those problems using HSD, nor did I on iOS 7. You may have something else conflicting.

However, it does not work on 7.1.2. It installs fine but the moment you try to move a springboard icon, springboard crashes.

Was not aware of that issue with 7.1.2 Hpoe there is an 8.1 version 🙂
 
There's a new tweak called Anchor coming out that allows the icon to be put anywhere a la Gridlock. It's not in Cydia yet though.
 
I wasn't a hsd fan at first but after I got used to it I like it better than gridlock so I will stick with it. Just takes some getting used to.

Yeah, I miss Gridlock too. I'll just wait on Anchor..
