Best value for money macbook pro

Hi all,

Im looking for some advise on a new macbook pro purchase.

Currently i have the MBP 13" 2012 model and Id like to update to something more current.

Rough criteria:

8-16GB RAM
2.8GHZ processor
13" Screen
512GB SSD
Retina Display

I can see many options on Amazon. The following MBP would be pretty close to my needs:

Im wondering would i get the same quality a bit cheaper if i dropped back a year or two, or went used instead?

Currently what is the best value for money macbook pro, that might fit with my needs?

Usually, not directly at Apple but you can find them discounted on the refurbished store, at resellers or used from those switching to the new ones.
