Hi All. My original Wi-Fi setup about 5 yrs ago was Comcast Cable Modem -> Airport Extreme.

A year later I got Vonage and according to their setup manual it's Comcast Cable Modem -> Vonage ->Router/computer. I assumed the Router/Computer was the Airport Extreme. I'm managing on this setup for years and it's fine.

I just bought the Airport Extreme with Time Capsule as I want the backup to be wireless and automatic. But when I google the Vonage/Airport Extreme setup it's telling me that it's supposed to be Comcast Cable Modem -> Airport Extreme -> Vonage.

Currently there is a G5 tower wired to the Vonage router and for computers using the Wi-Fi there's a G5 iMac, 1 iBook, 3 MacBook Pros, iPod Touch, Palm TX.

So which of these two setup is the right one? The Cable Modem ->Vonage router ->Airport Extreme or Cable Modem ->Airport Extreme ->Vonage?
