I was wondering if any of you had experiance with wearing your watch while snowboarding/skiing? This is one of the main reasons I opted for the cellular model as you never know when you're going to get stranded somewhere (I also carry a radio, and my iPhone which does go dead because of the cold).

I plan on using the Slopes app to track all my runs - it looks like a killer app and I can't wait to get started.

What band would be the most secure on my wrist under my mittens? The Spoort Loop immediatly comes into consideration but I just worry about the velcro coming undone - do I have anything to worry about? The sport looks like it might come off if I take a nasty spill (hopefully that does not happen).

Thanks!

I snowboard and use the sport loop. The velcro on it is very secure and I've never had an issue with it coming undone. It's also the most comfortable watch band IMO. I also use Slopes, it's a great app!

Awesome thank you - I was thinking of the sports loop myself. I have the nike one that came with my watch.. Does the Slopes app eat the battery up?

Not too bad, my S3 still made it through the day after running slopes all day while snowboarding. Might be worse on older AW versions though.
Cool I have a S3, sounds like I am good to go. I figured it will stay warm under my gloves. My phone always dies on the mountain.
