Best way to Buy large amounts of 3G iphones?

Where is the Best way to Buy large amounts of 3G iphones?
I want to buy around 5-10 iphones with no contract so I can unlock them. I went to the apple store however the apple employee said he could only sell me one phone per plan and that I couldn't leave the store without an activated phone.

There must be some way around this.
Should I become an apple authorized dealer?
Or should I buy one iphone, then go back the next day and say I lost the iphone and go to apple store and buy a new phone? (I would have to pretend I lost my phone about 5 times!) Any other ideas are helpful! Looking for US places only.
 
You can't buy them without a contract, so that's shot.

Go around to five-ten different stores.

Become a DEALER?! You still wouldn't be able to get the number you want. Apple Stores and AT&T stores are the only places allowed to sell it.
 
i remember reading on this forum a while ago about a clause that meant you can get 5 iphone or whatever as a business customer and then say the company is in liquidation - apparently you get to keep the phones and avoid paying off the contract

im in the UK, not sure about US law, but im pretty sure i read something along the lines of that on here

also, why not get contracts and then pay the ETF?

also how are you going to unlock...? there isn't an unlock available at the moment
 
You cannot buy phones without a contract in the US, and you cannot keep the iPhone 3G if you cancel within the first month. Why not just buy iPhones that are sold unlocked from over seas, where they are required by law to sell unlocked phones. It would be easier and likely cheaper.

It seems to me that you want to do a business with the iphone 3g. My advice to you, based on your post is..give it up. You are asking questions that you should already know the answer to if you had any kind of shot of be successful. It seems that you are new to the whole iphone 3g thing and you were inspired by what you saw on ebay. Iphones selling for over $1000, and wanted a piece of the pie. Walking into the apple store with the intention of buying several $300 phones to sell for a profit was very naive of you.
 
steal a bunch from the shipping company they use to ship to different apple stores wear a mask
 
This is a joke, right? It's people like you that got us into the scenario we are now with not being able to order online. Just so you can soak someone else for doing what is freely available?

I dont really see any fraud involved here. He wants to buy the phones doesnt he. If they sell it to him then so be it.
