A couple days ago I accidentally got about 2,000,000 protein infused soldiers on the screen. That stuff cleaned better than using penicillin to get rid of the clap! I recommend everybody head over to ******* right now so they can try it now!

What ever I happen to be wearing that I can reach the screen with. Usually a tee shirt. My clothes get washed way more than some piece of microtones cloth I forget about in my bag.....

This is the best thing I found... www.mobilecloth.com
Fast. No spray, no scratches

Go to an auto supply store and you can buy cloths like these for no more than half the price advertised here. They look like terrycloth but are microfiber. I bought an 8 pack of 14 inch square cloths for $6. I use them to clean laptop screens, the touch screen on my GPS unit, my eye glasses. Gave one to my son to clean his iPad, he loves it. You do not need any type of liquid cleaner. They work great by themselves.

When it gets dirty, wash it out by hand and make sure you get rinse out all the detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Or just throw it away and buy a new one since they are so cheap.

Seeing as that is actually micro fibre, how effective is it? :D

Occasionally you get that little speck of gunk that won't easily come off with a rub, so I use this to give it a gentle nudge.

One vote here for iKlear as the cleaning solution and ShaggyMac in between my screen and SmartCover.

I only use the iKlear once every 4-5 days, and just wipe the screen with the ShaggyMac several times a day. No screen protector this time around (and loving it)!

Using a Gelaskin on the back to avoid scratching the aluminum.

Don't use the smart cover

The pic of smart cover being used is daft,
The way the cover works is to fold up and under the Ipad and then the microfibre surface is touching the table or whatever. Picks up dirt and then you wipe that across your screen. No way! Paper tissues etc are not a good idea either as any optician will tell you - some can be OK but others not so steer clear. A proper cloth and maybe a bit of spray or dampness.
