Best way to clean the AirPods?

I have the 2nd gen ones. How to clean them properly without damaging them?

My Air Pods look different from those in the picture. Would it be ok? These are mine https://www.apple.com/airpods-2nd-generation/

Yes it shoud be fine. The grills on the AirPods 2 are either hard plastic (or maybe metal) and are not easy to damage. I use the pick on the tool to scrape out ear wax in grills and have had no issue
