Much has already been said about the fingerprint magnet of the titanium finish, but I would like to discuss how to actually clean it. With the previous stainless steel pros, all that was needed was a cloth dampened with water and fingerprints would wipe right off. However titanium seems to be very resistant to simple cleaning.
Things I've tried so far:
Things I've tried so far:
- Dry microfiber cloth: doesn't seem to have any cleaning effect
- Cloth dampened with water: pretty much the same as a dry cloth (no effect)
- Cloth dampened with electronics screen cleaner: very little effect
- Cloth dampened with Expo whiteboard cleaner: effectively removes fingerprints, but leaves streaks that need fairly high pressure rubbing to remove.
- Isopropyl alcohol q-tip swab, rubbed with cloth after: removes fingerprints, but still needs high pressure rubbing to fully remove
