Best way to do migration from MBP to Macbook?

Where how do you keep your normal back-ups can you not restore from this ?

Get a cheap external drive to transfer main data and just use the migration wizard to transfer settings etc as that will be minimal WiFi time

Way too slow.

I transferred about 150GB of information in under 15 minutes. That didn't seem way too slow to me. :/
