    Hey guys,

I have an older MBP 13" Duo Core 2.4ghz that I would like to transfer data to my new Macbook. I only have a USB C adaptor.

    Thanks!

Where how do you keep your normal back-ups can you not restore from this ?

    else

Get a cheap external drive to transfer main data and just use the migration wizard to transfer settings etc as that will be minimal WiFi time

I transferred about 150GB of information in under 15 minutes. That didn't seem way too slow to me. :/
