I'm a fairly new MBA owner (1.6/80) and I'm wondering what other owners have found to be the best way to prolong the battery life. I've found that by dimming the screen almost 50%, I can get approximately 90 extra minutes out of my battery. If I run the screen at full brightness, I only get about 3 hours out of the battery. With the screen dimmed, I easily get over 4 hours, usually closer to 4:45 or so. My other settings are: wireless on, bluetooth off, speaker muted, minimal applications opened (browsing, basic productivity software).

What are you doing to maximize your battery run-time? What seems to have the biggest impact on battery life: CPU usage, screen brightness, speaker, etc?

Set screen brightness to minimum, set the HD to sleep, reduce processor power.
