I have CAT6 to USB extenders that have worked well until now. I have a problem. I need to use a controller for my recording studio. I bought a SSL UF1. I couldn't get it to connect until I plugged it directly into my Mac Studio M4 Max. Actually the next tier also worked: Thunderbolt 5 Dock. But it failed when I connected to a hub and forget it getting into a booth in my studio. I have Cat6 and using WeMe cat6-USB extenders to get there. The SSL UF1 doesn't say it's thunderbolt only. Support says it's due to the limitation of the 7 USB tiers. Well it falls off way before 7 tiers. More like 2.

Is there some advice too pump up the power? I'm using Sabrent 7 port USB hubs. They have buttons to turn on/off the port. I've tried turning them all off except for the one I'm using to no avail. This hub is connected directly to the Mac Studio. So far it's only worked connected to the Mac or the Thunderbolt dock.

I also have a few Netgear gigbit switches I thought I'd connect in a booth, but so far I haven't gotten that to work.
