I still dont know the best way to delete programs fully from OS X. Which is the best way. I usually spotlight it and then delete it and look for it in library and delete those aswell.
Unless the application comes with an uninstaller, just drag the app to the trash.
Any support files should be in ~/library/application support and ~/library/preferences. You can delete those too if you wish, although leaving them won't do any harm.
Some great ways are Forklift, if you have it, or are willing to spend the money (it does much more, so I suggest it if you want to take a look,) or AppDelete. AppDelete if freeware, and it searches for you, and moves it to the trash. I've noticed that it cleans up very nicely.
