iPhone X Best way to hold a iPhone X battery down?

whats the best way to hold a battery down? I don’t have the tools to get the actual battery out (only have tools for a 8 and below if that afaik)

Battery is loose inside my case and I’ve used a small amount of blu tack to hold it in place for the time being, how safe is that?

Given the potential heat loads, I don’t think it’s safe at all. No way of knowing how flammable that might be. I’d take this to a pro if you don’t have the correct tools or knowledge to do this.

3M double sided tape if you don’t have the specific battery adhesive strip. You can get that from multiple sources.

8 and X require the same tools. You will need a Y000 tip.
