Best way to install mplayer (CLI) on OS X Tiger?

Hi all,

What is the best way to get an up-to-date version of mplayer (cli only) installed on OS X Tiger? Macports? Tigerbrew? Is there a prebuilt binary somewhere?

I'm trying to mps-youtube and requires a newer version.
