So for one of my classes, I am going to be using a bunch of audio files, that I will eventually want to put on my iPhone to listen to. However, once they are on my iPhone, I would like to be able to still have them, just not in my library. Is there a way to make a playlist of these audio files, that do NOT show up in my main library?

Thanks

You could

1) Keep them in your library, but uncheck them, so they wont play
or
2) Create an entirely separate library for them, just hold down the alt/option key when opening iTunes.

Make a playlist for them, and uncheck them. If you go to that playlist and they're all unchecked, they'll play as if they were all checked, but in the main library, they'll be skipped over. You can't have them not show up without creating a separate library for them, but that won't play well with your iPhone.
