How about if you goto Crucial's site look at the imac RAM page, then just leave, and if that message appears, choose i the option i chose, they may even lower prices MORE. making a sweet bargain.

Go to NewEgg's website and you can get Crucial RAM for $5-10 (maybe more) cheaper than Crucial's website.

So is Mushkin -- see the customer comments on newegg.com.
Mushkin is also less expensive (at the moment):

Mushkin 'PerfectMatch' for Apple, 4GB @ $76 with free shipping

BTW, Newegg and Mushkin are both ranked "Platinum Plus" by
    resellerratings.com.

    umm, ok.

crucial price without the 'hey, i'm leaving...' part: US $101.99 (4gb 2x2gb)

Super Talent price from a reseller: $39.99 per chip for the same thing with lifetime warranty.

best OEM chip manufacturer in the US. period. i've used STT in several thousand systems, and no problems here. just saying...;) pick a different reseller if you care.

I love the 4gb Mushkin kit I got for my Al iMac. Way cheaper than buying "apple" specific RAM.

They call the G5s the "Super Mac G5", and there's no Mac Pro option.

    Yeah, I'll stick with OWC.

Crucial's RAM is always quality RAM, they're reliable, and their prices are good, if not necessarily the cheapest on the planet. Just saying...

My friend had Crucial RAM, for MacBook CoreDuo, it crapped out.

Another friend had Corsair RAM for another MacBook CoreDuo, which also crapped out.

RAM from anywhere and anyone can go bad.

Crucial can be sneaky with double charges

I purchased 3 GBs of RAM for my Mac through Crucial.com and the cost was 104.22 which I was fine with, but then they came back and charged me 105.09 on top of that. The 104.22 was a pending charge and when I called Crucial to let them know of the error, they blamed my banking institution for the fault. They claimed that the back could not match up the pre-authorization with the actual charges. I contacted Crucial back and stated that for me to get the charge off my account, I had to get them to fax a letter releasing the funds. They stated that they would that afternoon. The bank claimed that when they receive a fax request, the turn around time would be only 6 hrs unless faxed after 3p CT.
the next day the charges were still on my account. So I called Crucial back, asking them what time they sent the fax, when they checked and returned to the phone, they stated that they had just faxed the release to my bank. So I asked for a copy of the confirmation page. They refused to do so and just sent me a "confirmation email" with the date/time stamp on it. All I got was a regular email stating that at 8:35a PDT a fax was sent (what a joke). I responded to the email asking for the confirmation page and they claimed that they could not forward the "Fax" due to confidential information. Ok, I understand that reason, but all I wanted was the confirmation page showing the fax number and date/time stamp on the page. After asking again for that and if there was confidential info on it to just redact that portion and fax the sheet to me. They still refused to do so.
At 7:30p PDT, I still had the pending charges and so I contacted my institution asking why the charge was still there and that Crucial claims that they faxed a release at 8:35a that morning. I also told them that I thought that was a 6 hr TAT on these types of requests. The bank confirmed that and then stated that they never received a request.
With some discussion, the bank did credit my account with the $104.22 and that they were going to follow up in the morning on the case.
So, I will not be using this company again after their apparent lies and deception regarding my order.
    Crucial.com blows chunks!!!!
