I just received an Apple watch Ultra for Christmas. Don't think I'll use it so I want to know the best way to sell it?
It's inner 2 boxes (watch, band) are unopened. I don't have any receipt as it was a gift and I called Apple to see if the item was purchased at an Apple store but it wasn't so I can't return it to Apple for a gift card.

I am pretty sure second level support can tell you where it was sold from. They did this for me when my icloud account was locked and inactivated.
If it is from a telco the device may be locked to a particular service

Sell it on whatever online marketplace you have in your country. In the USA that would be Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Meet someone in person and only take cash. Most people don't care about a receipt because they just want to know if it's working and in what condition. They're not interested in how you acquired the item. The only time this would be a problem is if it's activation locked but it's still inside the box so that's not an issue.

Ebay. Dealing with people directly is usually a miserable experience. If you go the meet up route get ready to get offers starting at $500 below the asking price as well as wild bartering offers.

I use swappa, in my experience it has been easier than eBay. Be prepared to get a lowball offer or two but I've never had anything on there longer than a few days. Unlike eBay they have a flat listing fee.
