We're sending out e-cards to our family/friends for the holidays. I have a home video that is about 13 minutes long that I want people to be able to watch. The problem is, to get it to any viewable quality, it's about a 90MB file.

Any suggestions as to how I could get it to people? I have a MobileMe account. Can I just put it there and let people download it? I suspect it would be a bit much for bandwidth, but maybe not. I wanted to just embed it into a website, but it's just too large a file.

So I'm looking for ideas. It needs to be fairly idiot-proof, as there will be technologically challenged people viewing it.

You can either host it on your idisk for users to download, or stick it in a page. I think it'd be pretty quick to play.

Megaupload is nice too? Have you try that? Just send them the link and have them download it.

You could put it on Youtube.

Or since you have Mobile Me can't you just create a webpage in iWeb and put the imbedded video on it?

I like Vimeo better for personal stuff. Good community there, too.

One more vote for DropBox (getdropbox.com). It's the simplest and hassle free way to share things. Sites like rapidshare have limits for free downloads and will likely annoy your recipients.

Here's a fourth vote for DropBox. Has five stars on Macupdate.

Mediafire gets my recommendation for file-sharing.

I've been using QuickshareIt for the past couple years. Works great!
