Best way to share a downloaded tv ep?

Hello,
I am searching for the best way to share a downloaded tv ep.

Situation - I am in Australia, my partner is in Abu Dhabi. He has an iPad mini so thats where the file needs to be opened.

I have a MacBook Pro.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated (easiest way possible he is not a tech nerd like me 😛 )

So long as the episode is not copyrighted and you are legally free to share, you could upload the file to your Dropbox etc. and send him the share link to the file.

ok and that is easy enough to open on an ipad? What im getting at is i know some files compress, I just want a simple download and play option 🙂

Provided the video file is supported, he should be able to open it once it downloads.

edited to add: In light of my first post, you could upload it to YouTube, and make the file private. Give him the info and he will be able to view.

Depending on the file format and size, you could use Handbrake (https://handbrake.fr/) to convert/downsize the file and then make it available to him through iCloud, Dropbox, or such.
