You could try a network print server, or plug it into a time capsule.

how do I set up a network print server?

I don't have a Time Capsule, and besides, I also need to share this printer with other Windows computers.

If it were me, I would plug my printer into the router and set it up as a wireless printer.

Otherwise, plug a print server into the router.

I'm weary of print servers. I used one before and there was a terrible lag when I tried to print something

I think you have to create a login on the windows computer. You use that as the login/password from the mac when it asks.

But I did. It just kept saying authentication required right after I typed in my password.
