I recently purchased an MBP to go along with my iMac, and I'm wondering what the best way to sync files between my computers is. I have a MobileMe account, so things like bookmarks, address book, and mail accounts are already synced.

Things like music and movies are what really concerns me. If I purchase a couple albums on my iMac, is the only (or best) way to transfer those files over to my MBP to hook it up to a FireWire cable and manually transfer any time I want to? Is there any more streamlined or simple way that I'm ignorant of?

You could use Backup (download from MobileMe), and then you just select stuff you want to back up and a schedule; then you just restore the backups to the second computer.

I have my iMac and MBP on the same Network. I transfer files back and forth all the time by dragging and dropping. I also can be anywhere in the house and access the iMac and Printers. Screen Share works great too.
