Best way to wipe all data

    From my PowerBook g4. Looking to give it away and want to erase all data except operating system. Thanks.

    Erase the drive using the security settings in Disk Utility
    Reinstall the system

    Take out the hard drive, burn it, replace with new hard drive.

    Kid you not. (that is the actual government "instructions" within the uk).

    once i erase from disk utility, how do i go about reinstalling the operating system? Do i reinstall my upgraded Leopard? I bought Leopard and its registered to me.
