I'm currently using Apple's EarPod (latest generation) for my phone calls but I get a lot of complaints from people that they can not understand me well. Therefore I'm looking for a different wired iPhone headset with microphone and hope to get some tips here.

I would prefer a mono headset that goes only onto one ear. If necessary I would also use a stereo headset.

I used for many years the "Plantronics MX505 WindSmart Boom Headset for iPhone" headset which was simply fantastic but fell apart at one point. Unfortunately it is not available anymore. I then bought the "Jabra Wave Corded Cell Phone Headset" and was not happy with it because people complained about hearing me badly and finally tried the Apple EarPod which is - as mentioned before - also bringing a lot of complaints.

Are there any other good alternatives? Thanks for your tips.

I'm interested as well, I want one with inline mic and controls, not the boom mic. Have you found anything decent?
