Well, I will be the first to say that Twig Case Co. (currently) offers no wood case. We have paper, and Bamboo, which is grass. ;) We developed our CNC milled solid paper cases because of wood cases (by names we all know) cracking in weeks. Our other cases are not typical veneer, they're a unique layered paper and bamboo which is about a brazilian times stronger than any wood veneer, and supports engraving detail like a 4k HD monitor. :)

FWIW @jmgregory1, we're neighbors sort of. I have family just out of Spooner. :) I was looking at your wood veneer for another project I'm messing around with of and on. I may have to dust that off and send you some moneys

:)

Funny to see this thread resurface years later. I'm clearly partial to what we've created, to get that bit of captain obvious out of the way, but most wood cases on the market are either CNC machined blocks of wood that are chunky and prone to cracking, or simply a piece of typical veneer inset on the back of a plastic case. Our Peeled Wood Products are the only thing that is unique, given we are the only company in the world able to produce real wood that is so thin it can be used and applied in label form.

@jmgregory1, those wraps look very nice. I'm interested in learning more about them. Are they for sale anywhere?

Hey @jmgregory1 thanks for getting back to me! I'm not in the market for anything new quite yet, but will be likely upgrading my laptop late this year (hopefully to a new 2016 MBP?) and would definitely consider these then. I'll also be buying a new Apple TV 4 in several months, so if you ever come out with a model for that, I'd love to know!

From what I can see in your photos I really like the look of them. Just to feed my curiosity, how are they different than wood-print wraps from like, SkinIt or something? What do they feel like?
