I was pretty anti notch but I had to upgrade so I went to a XS, I really don't notice it either, its not a big deal like I thought it would be.

I'd rather use an iPhone 5 running iOS 6 than that garbage.

You're free to use whatever you like however I would suggest not stopping at an iPhone 5. I would recommend using an iPhone 3 running 3.1.3, that would probably suit your needs better.

I really liked the look of iOS 6 at the time but it looks too dated for me now. Probably not wise running a smartphone on it with the lack of security updates either lol, but good for nostalgia.
