They managed to get so many pre-orders last week even those who managed to get up during the middle of the night to order online only to be told via email that it has been moved to the 28th of this month. Correct me if I am wrong but who has managed to be the lucky ones to actually get their apple watch shipped for the 16th...anyone? I got suspicious as we got closer to the 16th we would all get an email that the dates have been moved for the 28th or later.

Just my opinion!!!

Best Buy IS a scam. Long ago I preordered stuff from them and the date would alway get delayed. They would over promise and under deliver. Do not deal with BB after they sold me a new Nikon camera that when I got home was used with the items not even wrapped anymore. I took it back to the store and told them it was used and wanted a refund and the manager argued with me in front of a group of customers. When I pulled out the warranty card that was already filled out by the original owner, he tucked his tail between his legs and gave me a refund. What was sad is the Nikon box was shrink wrapped to look like new and new Nikon cameras do not come with shrink wrap.

That is why I stopped pre-ordering from outside retailers, and pre-order straight from the source.

LOL I came to post this and you beat me to it. Prices are horrible and they follow everyone around in my local store like they are shoplifters without even acting subtle about it [Note: I am not a shoplifter].

Best Buy is a low life consumer electronics retailer. They have very little cutting edge stuff to buy and most sales are made to the not to well informed. I would never deal with them again. Last time I walked in on a Sunday to get a HDMI cable and they has a cheapie that should have cost $10 and they wanted $29. I laughed and walked out never to return. They put the others out of business and that is a shame.

For these products (iPhone and Apple Watch), I'd strongly recommend pre-ordering directly from Apple.
Remember, it just takes Apple messing up the delivery to Best Buy, and your order is delayed.

Now, in Best Buy's defence, they have countless Series I watches. I have mine ready for pickup, just haven't gone to get it yet. I've ordered a Series II from Apple directly, but, that won't come till 18th - 31st Oct...

I just walked into my local BB in South Florida and apparently, they received several Series 2's yesterday while the main website still just says "preorder".

Additionally, The rep said that they were told to sell them first-come-first-serve and sold almost all of them yesterday.

I'm not sure which ones exactly they had since yesterday, but another guy and I just bought 2 out of the last 3 remaining 42mm Stainless SB w sport band ones. Just a matter of luck, I guess

(BTW, zero iPhone 7 plus')

Maybe the biggest storm in the history of Asia Pacific might've had something to do with shipment delays. Or having to route shipments around massive hurricanes?
