Beta 1 expiration?

When does beta 1 expire? I heard beta 2 is crap and I'd rather avoid it.

Apparently, last years' betas expired three weeks from the date they were issued, so beta 1 would expire in nine days (April 29.) If you need a downgrade guide, this worked perfectly on my MC model, never jailbroken 3GS.

I would expect the beta to expire.

Last year there was 10 days of overlap so if it's the same you've got until next Thursday or Friday.

There were times though when there was no overlap at all but Apple made sure to mention that in the release notes.
