I upgraded. Perhaps I should clean install.

Anyone else have a lot of heat?

Nope, I did on FaceTime but that’s always been like that (kinda irrelevant)

Mine burned thru battery like a b*stard ... seemed like location services for "Apple Watch Faces" was on permanently and killing it. Disabled it and seems to have calmed down.

Just wake up because an earthquake, and in an hour and half my battery drained from 100 to 80% and the phone was really hot. I just use WhatsApp Mac client. Generally it doesn't drain that much the battery using the phone that way, maybe an beta 2 problem. Just performed a hard reset, and closed all apps, to see if keeps that way.

I've seen it get hot in certain situations (camera.app, FaceTime, some safari pages) but not more so that in beta 1. I'm guessing there is still a lot of optimization that needs to be done in iOS 11.

Mine settled down. I’m guessing it was face detection on 53,000 images. :)
