In beta 3, it seems like half of my text messages don't display in the notification center (though sounds and banners work fine). I can't seem to narrow down exactly why, so I'm having a hard time thinking of how to file the bug report. But when they don't show up (and are still unread), turning Messages notifications off then back on makes them appear in NC. Same thing with Gmail, so I'm thinking it's notification-related, not just Messages.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

It's actually so annoying that I'm considering reverting back to beta 2 (plus I like the thin font way better) unless anyone knows how to fix it.

UPDATE: Beta 4 still has this bug for me.

WhatsApp notifications are not showing for me as well. I'll keep my eye on mail and messages now...

This is still happening with beta 4.

No one else has this issue!?

When I receive a text message, I get the banner and sound, but it doesn't show up in Notification Center. If I turn Messages notifications off then back on, they appear. Then new messages appear too. But it is short-lived, and then goes back to not showing up anymore.

Wondering if anyone has found a fix? I stopped paying much attention around here after reverting back to beta 2, but I'd like to stick to 4 this time.

    Thanks

Happens to me all the time. Notifications do not show when the phone is unlocked. I only notice them due to the badged icon.

    Quite annoying.

Its not just iOS 7. Its iOS 6. Theres a similar bug if you downgrade from iOS 7. Even after you do a clean install without restoring from a backup its still there.

Any change with beta 5? As far as I can tell based on just a bit of beta 5 usage so far, at least for me, it seems like notifications might be back to normal (at least I now see some that I wasn't seeing before).
