Is it possible to install DP5 instantly instead of DP2 and having to update all the way up, i downgraded from about DP3 and would like to install DP5.

Not that I'm aware of.

You install the base DP and then update that through the app store.

If I remember correctly starting with Lion Apple stopped providing complete installers for DP's. There might have been one DP of Lion that came with its full installer maybe.

Log into the Developer Center. There is a new redemption code for DP5.

I posted instructions for making a bootable usb installer for DP5 at https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1761645/

You can use this to do a clean install without earlier previews. Just boot up from it with the option key.
