Beta 5 can only last 16 hours. So I will get 10% warning around 11:00 p.m. It costs 6% to 7% per hour.

Beta 3 and 4 still left around 20% battery at 1:00 a.m.. It costed 4% to 5% per hour.

Anyone found beta 5 costs more?

I thought the same thing, but I powered off and back on and I am back to 2.2 battery life. The iPhone is another story. Poor battery with every beta.

Updating to beta 5 seemed to kickstart absurd battery drain (100-0 in 2-3 hours). Resetting and setting up as new with no backup fixed it. Simply rebooting did not.

Installed Beta 5 several days ago (no experience with the earlier betas). For me, battery life is noticeably worse than 2.2, but not as terrible as what some have experienced... I can still easily make it a whole day (7am - 11pm or so), but before the beta I would still be at about 60% and could easily get by charging every other night, but now I'm down to about 30% at the end of the night, so I have to charge nightly.

I can easily replicate the problem that others have here by adding apps to the dock that are not compatible with OS3. If my dock is empty, I get equal or better than OS2. Add carrot or dark sky to the dock and I lose about 20% overnight. Take them out, I burn 10% max. Tested this several times. Both apps has background refresh on as well.

Today, my dock has only the timer, settings, activity and I am burning 3% an hour. 6th day of rotating apps and it is 100% consistent. Tomorrow if I add fantastical and dark sky to the dock, I run 8% an hour.

You are right. After a reboot, my watch seems normal now. However, as Watch app's battery statics can't point out which app cost the battery, I can't know which app to blame.
