Beta 6??

Today or Friday. I think last week the public beta dropped on Friday.

It’s probably next week iOS 14 beta was 1 week earlier this week compared to regular two weeks release? So who knows we shall see nothing today

I’m pretty happy I haven’t had major issue at all except VMware but they released a technical beta preview so that works great for now

I get the feeling the macOS team is still on the two-week beta cycle. It's a big upgrade -- would not be surprised to see it release several weeks after iOS and its counterparts.

what does that mean, exactly? the mac os team is it's own thing, and does what it needs to do, and releases updates when they're (hypothetically) ready for release. what else matters?

I guess they are keeping to a two week cadence, because they are still working on some biggers issues and the final release is later than for ios.

I think it is relatively normal at this stage in cycle to go out of step with ios, as indeed macos releases have tended to be a week or two later.
