iOS 14 Delay when Typing

Is anyone else experiencing keyboard lag when starting typing in Messages? Haven't noticed it in any other apps.

I have submitted a bug report when I first noticed the problem.

After 24 hours, I’d say the keyboard lag is far worse in Beta 8 than in any other beta.

iPhone 11 Pro.

I haven’t used messages enough to yet on GM to see if it’s still an issue. I did a fresh wipe and load of everything. I did have the issue on beta 8.

Haven’t tried that yet. I’m on iOS 14.2 now so we’ll see if I get any lag with this.

I noticed the keyboard isn't as smooth in ios 14 (public release) as it was in ios 13. Here is hoping they improve that, as it can spoil the whole experience.
