I've got the beta installed and running. My calendar events are showing and email notifications are coming up but Messages are nowhere to be found. I've had several come in and they're not showing on the lockscreen. This is kind of important.

Anybody know what may be wrong?

I only have an iPhone so iMessages is not that vital for the aspect of using it on an iPad as well. For right now I have just disabled iMessages and all of my text messages show up properly.

I am getting a lot of duplicate messages on LockInfo but that is better than nothing I surmise.

For lockinfo is there a way to have it so that when I hit later in bitesms it doesnt leave the notification on the lockscreen slide thing but instead just in my Lockinfo?

meaning you can include the notification center widgets (weather, stock, sbsettings, uisettings, music, etc) into your lockinfo panel (lockscreen, homescreen, infoshade).

Edit: here is an example of my lockscreen

Does anyone know how to change the icons? I've downloaded the ios 5 lockinfo theme from cydia, activated it in WB, but nothing changes. Any help will do. Thanks.

Latest Lockinfo i can see brings in the notification centre. But can anyone tell me how to make it stay hidden so that i can just swipe down to see whats there?

It seems none of the themes on Cydia have been updated to work with iOS 5. I've tried asking around but nobody seems to know of any that work.

This didn't work for me.

Downloaded the iOS 5 LockInfo theme from Cydia, cut it from the /Library/Themes location and pasted into "/Library/LockInfo/Themes".

What did I do wrong?

Is this free?

When I get into LockInfo, they try to make me pay $8 every time.

You get a free trial if i remember correct. Although the $8 is well worth it, best thing I have every paid for on my iPhone. You also get 5 licenses with the purchase and 5 free licenses for popup blocker which gives you full control of all the popups.

Is anybody having trouble with voicemails not showing up properly in LockInfo. If I check LockInfo right now if shows two voicemails that I deleted yesterday still.

disable apple lockscreen

if you have both enabled (ios5 lockscreen and lockinfo lockscreen), both will show up. i like lockinfo's lockscreen better than ios5, so i disabled anything with ios5 lockscreen notification.

Hi, would you explain how do you disable the apple's lockscreen notification as I only want lockinfo lockscreen notification

cheers

For anybody that is considering buying this, I'd seriously consider IntelliScreenX as an alternative.

I used the Lockinfo beta for a while and a lot of the plugins weren't correctly displaying information. The clock and weather plugins were off by quite a bit. Weather is somewhat acceptable but when my clock is off by 40+ minutes....

IntelliScreenX is also in beta but works flawlessly. Plus you've got your SBSettings toggles built right in. One less tweak to install.

If you're willing to pay, it's more than worth the extra two bucks.

I've had LockInfo for iOS5 running without a hitch for about 2 weeks now. I tried out Intelliscreen first, but liked the fact that LockInfo was more customizable and once I saw that I could add my sbsettings icons on LockInfo as well, I was sold. I had previously paid for LockInfo so it's still a free upgrade for me.

Beta. Beta means email the Dev with any issues you have. David is extremely good at responding and fixing issues.

Thank you. I understand what beta means. Although I wasn't aware "graphically unpleasant" was included in the definition.

I'm sorry if your feathers are tickled, but beta releases are not perfect, nor complete pieces of code/software. They are meant for small dispatch so that problems can be sorted out before public release.

Being that this is a known definition, I trust that you will email David with whatever issue you were having so he can fix it? I've used and contributed multiple bug reports to David, some very similar to the issues you were having. He then worked on a fix and incorporated it into the next beta release, promptly.

It just sounded like you were expecting this to be a perfect package, while it's very much a constant work in progress.

You misunderstood. I was simply saying that IntelliScreenX (also beta, mind you) looks and functions better. There were no expectations or gripes.
