Dumb question and this is probably answered somewhere but I can't find it.

I am currently running iOS 7 beta. When the final software is released to the general public, will everything transition smoothly as far as iCloud backups and such? I don't really want to wipe the phone clean and start over. I just want to keep the phone going as configured right on through the general release.

Thanks.

Yes, everything will be fine, but Apple always recommends doing a full clean install of the GM seed. Once you have the GM, if Apple releases a new build, you'll get a software update, but the GM usually ends up being the public release.

Yes

For this reason I have a iTunes backup using the "old" last stable iOS (6.1.4 in this case), when the new stable (iOS 7 in this case again) I restore from DFU, use the backup, do a "Reset All Settings" and that's all.

Yeah, I was thinking about that as well. I still have a stable iTunes backup from before I installed the Beta. Might do what you suggest. Thanks.
