Beta to GM

Quick question. I know you can't OTA from beta to OTA. But can you download the ipsw GM and update using iTunes? My friend was wondering..

Yes, but you may need iTunes 11.1 beta to do so.

Yes you can. That's what I did yesterday, with the latest beta of iTunes. (not sure that the latest beta is required though).

Seriously? Practically every other thread talks about upgrading to or installing the GM and how it works or different questions people have about it.
