beta version 6 installed. Do I need to install the finished product?

I have version 6 of the beta and enjoying it. Now that the 'finish' version is out. Do I need to install the 'proper' version from the App Store?

Yes. The official release will create the proper recovery partition should you ever need it, whereas the beta will not.
