I detest Freemium games as a genre. But I ave to admit that I'm curious about a Fallout themed one. Curious enough to download, which I will do shortly. However, I know myself well enough that I'm not going to pay for the time upgrades. Thank god I can say no to that waste of money. And I'm pretty sure that this game, like many others, won't be particularly fun without paying for upgrades.

Seems to have the stability of all of Bethesda's games. On iOS7 (iPad 2, iPhone 4s) it just crashes constantly.

What little I've played has been okay-ish without having to buy paid "Lunch boxes".

Anyone figure it out, how to transfer save file (before restoring) and how to transfer file back (after restore) and get the game working with old save file?

It is stupid that they didnt use icloud storage for save files. Pretty lame for pay2win if u loose anything that you bought after restore.

I have played without paying for any upgrades and it's great. There are daily tasks to do that reward "lunch boxes" which is what you would be buying anyway. Unlike many Freemium games, this is 100% entirely playable and fun without purchasing the premium content.

Yep, I downloaded and played it. I bought one set of five lunch boxes for $4.00 and that saved my vault. Then it has been easy and now I've got 150 dwellers and many many rooms. I haven't bought any lunch boxes since and as of now don't plan on doing so.

I'm going to see if I can upgrade a Dweller and get enough gear so one of them can explore the Wasteland for a week. Right now they can't make it three days in the Wasteland before dying (at which point they get revised and brought home).

It is a fun little game. Like a cross between a tamagochi and the Sims. I suspect they will add some end game content or sell an upgrade for end game content in a few weeks. They could even just add some tougher raiders and it would be more challenging.
