Better 2018-19 MBA screen color on Catalina?

Anyone notice better colors, e.g. increased contrast, white point, etc, or brightness, after updating to Catalina?

I noticed that the backlight seems a lot stronger on my 2018 MBA, giving a brighter/stronger white point, after updating from Mojave.

P.S. I also noticed increased contrast after updating to iOS 13 on an XS Max.

or you're just illuminated by catalina 😉

The increase in brightness was already done in a previous update of Mojave from 300 nits to 400 nits (10.14.4). If you were still on 10.14.3 or earlier, then you would notice the brightness increase after updating to Catalina.

Possibly, or the color changes in UI have changed to make the display seem more contrasting, e.g. dark mode.

I have noticed this as well and I had all the latest updates before installing Catillina.
