Better Apple Remote?

I have started to make alot of use out of the apple remote with my EyeTV, and just watching movies in general. The remote that apple supplies is good, but is kind of weak sometimes. Is there a more powerful replacement?

To increase the power of the Apple remote with my macbook pro, I use remote buddy.
