Better FTP client?

Or better yet stop using an insecure protocol such as FTP and switch to SFTP or FTPS.

Agreed, but unfortunately ftp is still used alot so for some people, it's just not a choice. Maybe someday tho'

I've wanted to buy Transmit for the longest time, I'm just scared the second I touch the thing Transmit 4 will be released the next day. Does anyone have any info (panic.com seems pretty tight-lipped) on Transmit 4.0 and whether it's releasing sometime in the foreseeable future?

It could happen, but if you emailed then and explained the situation more likely than not they'd give you a license code for 4.0. All of my interaction with them has been quick, helpful, and friendly.

I agree, this has been my experience as well.
