I'm not sure if FAT32 would work. Apple uses a journaled HFS+, or something lika that. Check here:

I noticed you also have the Waterfield sleeve case from sfbags.com. I have one as well and love it. In fact I just got one for my wife's MBA. The OP may want to check it out as well. The piggyback add on is also very handy for the power supply and other nicknacks.

I won't be opening up my MBP for a long, long time. Thank you for that info though. I mean we have a spare harddrive that we're grabbing an external enclosure for to use as a back up drive. I use my SuperDrive too much to take it out right now.

I'll also check out the Waterfield cases, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to cases. I collect purses if that says anything about my tastes lol
