I will eventually need replace my Razer mouse cos it getting old (I had it since around 2010-2011) and wearing out, it is okay for moment. I am looking at Razer mouse that got onboard memory. I know can use BetterTouchTool to programme mouse buttons since Razer don't do software on Mac anymore. It is unclear if BetterTouchTool will work with mouse on board memory? Do anyone know?

Thanks.

I'd email the developer for a definitive answer. My guess is it won't use or program on board memory, but simply intercept the button press and respond accordingly.

BTT is a great tool, one alternative I also use is USB Overdrive which allows assigning keystrokes and various actions to mouse buttons and scroll wheels.
