I went on a 3 day trip to Montreal with my iPhone.

I just received a bill for $1,000 worth of data charges (automatically downloading email, internet use, etc.)

Be careful everyone! If you go abroad, deactivate your email accounts!

I know someone who spent a fortune when he went to France for two weeks and had his Blackberry checking e-mail (I think every 8 minutes)...there should be a warning when you enter high-charge areas with push e-mail...
