Only had my MBP 16" for a week and already seeing keyboard marks on the screen. Currently light enough to rub off, but had never seen these on my 2016 & 2019 15". Have only had the laptop closed on my desk, no pressure on top etc..

I have keyboard marks on my 2016 15". My wife has them on her 2013 15". They are only noticeable when the screen is off. I was scared it may get worse, but it didn't. If you're worried, you may get that Radtech cover.

But I wouldn't worry about it, personally.

Try just placing a microfiber between the keyboard and screen when closing.
That's what I always do with any laptop that I have owned not just this MBP that I have now. I put a large microfibre cloth or even the little paper that came in the box would do, better than direct contact with the screen and keys.

Same here, I use a piece of A4 paper to protect the screen.

I have had previous problems with staingate on my 2011 and 2014. The 2016 looks like new since I started with this practice.
