Regarding scrolling on the deathadder, i adjusted the scrolling speed in the preference panel as shown below:

It took some time getting used to, but i can scroll fine now.

3rd Doctor - THANK YOU! That fixed my issue. I've been using the same settings you've posted since yesterday, and have had no jumping around (yet ha).
 
I bought an Orochi months ago, programmed it on a PC to work on my Mac, but it's WAY better now with the Mac driver released June 30. Can now do application specific button assignments. The Deathadder doesn't do this, you can assign buttons/macros - but they remain static regardless of what application you're using. Hoping, Praying - Razer releases a Mamba driver like the Orochi now has for Mac.. love the application specific button assignments - like both Microsoft and Logitech have offered for Macs over the past decade.
