Beware the (graphite) Milanese loop!

Why Apple packages this watch with one of the few things that scratch it god only knows. At least don't dlc coat the loop, not sure why they do that anyway? This is an instance where you are better off buying the knock off version of the loop.

Just doing some reading (Reddit) and I see some people were successful in swapping out their watch as Apple knows that this combo is causing scratches. Any one hear about this?
