While the iPhone 17 series will take center stage at Apple's event next week, rumors suggest the company plans to release many other new products this year.

Below, we have recapped 10 other Apple products that are expected to launch this year, with some likely to debut at the event and others to follow later.

So, will iPhone get an app to measure temperature ? or it will be only Apple watch / Airpods oriented and the whole event will eventually turn into AIRPODS HEALTH ?

Have any of the Apple TV competitors had a camera? I understand the use case but can't seem to figure out the execution.
Besides FaceTime, if the integrate it with HomeKit you could have a security camera wherever you have an AppleTV.

Sadly none of it really interests me. I own most of these products and I doubt there would be any noticeable differences if I upgraded any of them.

Is the current Apple TV slow?? The 4 we own seem fast enough but often buggy as heck. Will the Ultra 3 watch be much better than my my Ultra 1? Would I notice the noise canceling difference from my current Air Pods Pro?

Apple won’t take risks. Example I think my next watch will be a Garmin Fenix. Round with week/s of battery life. Why can’t they offer a round watch, even more focused on fitness/health and less flash and better battery life?

Move along. Nothing to see here. These are just placeholder upgrades (for folks leaving the 12, 13, and maybe 14 behind). Hopefully 2026 will bring the iPhone Fold and with it a new reason to upgrade annually as they work out the kinks in the folding design...

Bro, have you ever even used an Apple TV? It is a device that 99% of the time is hidden in a cabinet or behind a TV. There is no use case for a camera whatsoever. FaceTime is already handled in a much better way by pairing with an iPhone.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 > Not worth it, almost the same and it has the same chip as ultra 2

Apple Watch Series 11 > Almost the same as series 10, don’t buy same chip too

Apple Watch SE 3 > Buy at your risk… you know that it will be dead in 4 years

IPad Pro > Depends on the upgrade, it can be bad or ok to buy.

Vision Pro > Don’t waste your money

Apple TV 4K 4 > Buy if you have old Apple TV or no Apple TV, don’t buy if you have an Apple TV 4K from 2022 or above

HomePod Mini 2 > Buy

AirTag 2 > Buy if you need

AirPods Pro 3 > Risk of small update, tho because AirPods are getting updates every year, new updates will be for AirPods Pro 3… So if you have old AirPods like AirPods Pro 1 you can upgrade tho it can be a risk if you only care about sound… We don’t know if the sound will improve a lot.

Studio Display 2 > Buy if you can

I’d consider an AWU3 if there is a new sensor (or vastly more accurate current sensors).

Looking forward to a new ATV too.

But overall… not much piques the interest.

Not a single Mac? Time to change the name of the site?

EDIT: AppleRumors.com actually redirects to MacRumors.com. I had no idea. Only a matter of time until it's official? It's been a long time since the Mac was Apple's most important product.

Really disappointed not to see an update to the full sized HomePod (HPMAX) in that list. This is all still based on rumours but as I understand it a product code for what is almost certainly the next gen HomePod Mini (HPM) has been spotted in source code but not one that looks like a new HPMAX so that is discouraging.

I really hope that Apple isn't doing an Airpod Max on the HPMAX and neglecting it for many years. Surely I'm not alone in wanting to use HPMAXs in certain rooms to get the best HomePod sound quality that I can, e.g. a stereo pair connected to my Apple TV.

If Apple is putting at least an S9 chip into the next HPM, maybe even an S10 or S11, that's going to allow it to run some simpler Siri commands on-device which will be good for response times so if Apple doesn't update the HPMAX at the same time it's going to be disappointing to have to choose between better sound quality or better Siri response times.

Also, the HPMAX is quite often compared to the Sonos Era 100. Apple does have good audio engineers and if people are expecting it to deliver improvements in sound quality with the next HPM I would have thought that a refreshed HPMAX could also incorporate sound quality improvements to perhaps make it fairly comfortably leapfrog the Sonos Era 100 in terms of sound quality. The Sonos Era 100 is a 2.5 year old product now so Apple should at least be able to bring more processing power to the audio processing for room compensation etc.

If Apple doesn't update the HPMAX I think it is missing a trick and will give me a bit of a dilemma. I'm about to buy my first HomePod device with a view to, if Apple ever gets its Siri act in order, replacing all my Amazon and Sonos devices with Apple devices. I'll definitely still get at least one HPM once the new version is released but if the HPMAX is not updated from the gen 2 version I'm not sure what I'd do for the rooms where I want better sound quality because I already have a few Sonos Ones and really like them.

I'd like to go all HomePod for consistency but for the bigger speakers I think I'd stick with Sonos (which does at least support AirPlay) until Apple refreshes the full sized HP as well.
