Apple's annual September event is now in the rearview mirror, with the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3 all set to launch on Friday, September 19.

Apple is not finished on the year, though, with rumors claiming that the company might release up to six more products before 2025 ends.

Here are the rumored products — many of which are likely to be announced in October:Multiple reports have indicated that MacBook Pro models with the M5 series of chips might not launch until early 2026, and it is unclear if any other Macs with M5 chips like an iMac or Mac mini would debut this year as a result. If new Macs are not arriving until next year, the Studio Display might not be updated until 2026 too.

It is not yet known if Apple plans to host another event this year, or if these products would be announced with press releases on the Apple Newsroom website only.

Of course. Apple almost always follows up the September event with an October (or November) event where they show new Macs or iPads.

I will trade up to a new iPad Pro even thought I have last year's model because it has been a frustrating experience being a left handed person where the new side camera is usually blocked by my grip when doing Face ID.

Apple TV please. If that happens, then I will be happy with the two new things I needed. AirPods Pro 3 and an Apple TV upgrade.

Hard to believe Apple will unveil a next gen M5 with a mere press release… have they done this before with the M series chips?

A buffed TV needs Apple to offer some sort of background software that lets you run any iOS game with controller compatibility. This would immediately expand the library whilst then giving devs a chance to optimise for TV display.

Hard to know what will come. I think the "Scary fast" unveiling of the M3 MBPs was only a half hour event, so I guess it could be a short event for this lot to detail the M5 in the iPad.

Apple TV : yeah good if you don't have one or have an old old one

HomePod mini : Always good

AirTag 2 : Always good

iPad Pro M5 : Meh

Vision Pro : Are you rich? Even if don't buy

Studio Display 2 : Good for pros

and an Apple-designed Wi-Fi chip with Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 support.
I hope Apple didn’t feel the need to design a lower-end wireless networking chip than N1.

Apple N1 wireless networking chip
  • Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) with 2x2 MIMO
  • Bluetooth 6
  • Thread networking technology
I wonder if the 2 landscape+portrait FaceTime cameras rumour was true or just confusion about the 1:1 aspect 18MP Center Stage camera introduced in iPhone 17.

Anyone else come here for reactions to Apple's decisions and not for the so-called "rumors"? The rumors aspect of this site seems much more heavily saturated with speculation in recent years.

Isn’t the name of this site ‘MacRumors’?

I’m having a hard time imagining what an M4 or M5 Vision Pro that doesn’t change anything else would be useful for. Any features taking advantage of it would be leaving out the existing install base, so they’d have to be inessential nice-to-haves that wouldn’t be worth upgrading for and wouldn’t address the shortcomings keeping new users away.

Edit: I guess some sort of enterprise usage that seems to have caught on? Could be there’s some applications on that front that could take advantage of it, but I have a hard time imagining anything on the consumer side that would target a fraction of an already small user base and not piss existing users off.
